Privacy Policy for CalcIUM

Last updated: April 07, 2026

CalcIUM is a scientific and engineering calculator application.

This Privacy Policy explains what data CalcIUM may process, how it is used, and what choices users have.

1. Overview

CalcIUM is designed to work primarily on the user’s device.

The app does not require account registration or user login.

The app does not use advertising SDKs.

CalcIUM does not require users to provide personal information such as name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, microphone recordings, camera content, or photo library content for normal use of the app.

2. Data Stored on the Device

To provide core functionality, CalcIUM may store certain data locally on the user’s device. This may include:

This local data remains on the device unless the user explicitly exports or shares content.

3. Crash Reporting and Diagnostics

CalcIUM uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and limited technical diagnostics when the app crashes or encounters serious errors.

This information may include:

This information is used only to diagnose errors, improve app stability, and fix bugs.

Crash and diagnostic data may be processed by Google Firebase Crashlytics as a third-party service provider in accordance with Google’s applicable terms and privacy policies.

CalcIUM does not use Firebase Analytics.

4. Internet and Network Use

CalcIUM is designed so that its core calculator functionality works offline.

If network communication occurs, it is limited to technical service purposes such as crash reporting and diagnostics through Firebase Crashlytics.

CalcIUM does not use its own backend server for user accounts, cloud synchronization, or remote storage of user content.

5. Sharing and Export

CalcIUM may allow the user to export or share certain content by explicit user action.

This may include graph-related content such as exported graph images or graph data files.

Any export or sharing action is initiated by the user. CalcIUM does not automatically send user-created content to external services.

6. Permissions and Device Features

CalcIUM may use limited device features required for app functionality.

At the current stage, this may include vibration or haptic feedback for interface interaction.

CalcIUM does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, or precise location for its normal operation.

7. Purchases

CalcIUM may offer optional premium features through Google Play in-app purchases.

If in-app purchases are enabled, payment transactions are processed by Google Play and related Google payment services under Google’s own terms and privacy policies.

CalcIUM does not process or store users’ full payment card details.

8. Children

CalcIUM is a general-purpose calculator application and is not directed specifically to children under 13, or under the equivalent minimum age in the user’s jurisdiction.

CalcIUM does not intentionally request personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information in connection with the app, please contact the developer so appropriate steps can be taken.

9. Data Security

Because CalcIUM stores most operational data locally on the device and does not use user accounts or cloud storage for user content, the amount of transmitted data is limited.

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the app stable and secure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. International Data Processing

Where third-party technical services are used, such as Firebase Crashlytics, related diagnostic data may be processed on servers located in countries other than the user’s country of residence.

Such processing is performed by those providers under their own applicable legal safeguards, terms, and policies.

11. Data Retention

Locally stored app data remains on the user’s device until the user deletes it, clears app data, or uninstalls the app.

Crash and diagnostic data processed by third-party providers, such as Firebase Crashlytics, is retained according to those providers’ own retention policies.

12. Legal Basis (where applicable)

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, processing of limited technical diagnostics is based on the developer’s legitimate interest in maintaining app stability, security, and performance.

13. User Rights (where applicable)

Depending on applicable law and jurisdiction, users may have rights regarding their personal data, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or to object to certain processing.

To submit a request, contact the developer using the contact information below.

Users may also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or new functionality.

The updated version will be published with a new “Last updated” date.
